The Ohio Floor Company recommends using Basic Coatings Squeaky Cleaner for daily and weekly cleaning of your gym floor.
Squeaky Cleaner is easy to use and environmentally safe.  It is tough on dirt but gentle on your floor finish. An excellent commercial-grade cleaner that does not leave any dulling residue behind.

Microfiber mops are the best tool for spot, and daily cleaning of your gym floor. Great for removing dirt and dust as well as those spills left when the bleachers are closed after the game. A Microfiber mop cleans better and is more absorbent than a cotton mop, plus it lasts longer. Another great feature is a microfiber mop is machine washable, and they are designed to last for hundreds of machine launderings.
You can buy Microfiber Mop Kits from The Ohio Floor Company. The kits come with microfiber mops, stainless steel adjustable threaded handle, and a heavy-duty microfiber mop frame. They come in 18”, 24” and 36” width.

If you are using an automatic scrubbing machine to deep clean your gym floor, The Ohio Floor Company recommends the following:

1. Only use an automatic scrubber on floors that have at least three years of maintenance coats of finish. Using an automatic scrubber on floors without a good buildup of finish could harm the gym floor, causing cupping, peeling, and other damage due to moisture penetrating through the finish to the wood itself.
2. Use an automatic scrubber no more than once a month, and make sure the water output is on the lowest output setting.

The Ohio Floor Company recommends using 3M White Super Polish Floor Pads.
